My Family
Let me start out by saying that I love my family. Even though they can drive me up a wall, especially my siblings, I love the whole lot of them. I come from a huge family, and when I say huge, I really mean huge. My father was one of four children and my mother was one of a whopping nine children. Needless to say, both sets of my grandparents had their hands full, but nothing compared to my own generation.
I was a only child for two and half years. My parents always said they wanted another child but what they got was a lot more than they originally bargained for. On December 30, 1996 my mother Donna gave birth to triplets. Ashley, Brittany and Cory were all healthy babies and they all were able to return home with in a matter of weeks.
The four of us grew up in a small house in Webster Groves, Missouri. Eventually, as some may have guessed, we outgrew our home. Three toddlers running around got to be too much for that small house to handle, so we moved to Millstadt, Illinois. Millstadt is where we did most of our growing up, and we remained there up until about the time when I started middle school.
Growing up, it was nice to always have someone to play with but sometimes three younger children and one older one just doesn't make a good pair. Luckily, I had many cousins, so life was always a blast. My cousin count has continued to grow and grow every year now that my mother's younger sibling are getting married and having children of their own. Right now I have a total of 22 cousins, my poor grandparents, that's a lot of Christmas presents!
